The 3rd Resident Evil movie, billed as the conclusion of the RE movie trilogy, has been shown in theater already. So what's next for the movie franchise?
For starter, the novel for RE: Extinction just went on sale in Japan today. You can take a look at the cover here.
Next, the producer of the movie, Jeremy Bolt, said that a 4th RE movie isn't ruled out, and that he is interested in making Claire Redfield the lead for the next movie, if there's any. You can read more about it here and here.
On another news, according to the Capcom Gamers' Day 07 Event Overview, Christian Svensson mentioned that the next time we'll see any news regarding RE5 will be after DMC5 has been released, around next year.

Ameblo.jp have announced that Capcom will be publishing more copies of the GC edition of Biohazard 2, 3 and Code: Veronica in Japan. It seems that those ports were pretty hard to find in that country, hence the decision.
